It has been scheduled that the draw of the UEFA Women’s Champions League Group Stage will be conducted in September 2024, and the competition begins in October 2024 where the 16 best teams in Europe are ready to participate for the prestigious title. The incumbent champions, Barcelona, will aim at retaining the title they won in the last year’s competition though they’ll have some serious rivals in Chelsea, Lyon, and Wolfsburg the tournament usually features. The Premier League teams will be looking to make a mark, especially Manchester City who is making a return this year after featuring in the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League.
Unlike the men’s elite club competition, the UEFA Women’s Champions League retains the Group Stage before switching to the Knockout stage which starts from the quarter-final stage in March 2025. The last is scheduled for the end of May 2023 and two teams will battle for the cup, the tournament will be quite interesting.
UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage cycle will commence on 8th October, 2024 featuring the 16 best teams in Europe.
