Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has backed one of his players to be the next winner of the prestigious Ballon d'Or: midfielder Rodri.
Guardiola insists his compatriot is simply "the best" and believes the former Atlético Madrid man can succeed Lionel Messi as the best player in the world.
"Rodri. If I could decide, I would say this," he told us in an exclusive conversation recently. “I understand there are other players who can win. I think the other solution is to be nominated and be there, it's already good.
