Yet, the young Brazilian, who plays for Real Madrid, is seemingly unable to cope with constant racism and dark speculations threats.
The Brazilian forward, who has only been a victim of racism when he has gone to Spain to play for his club side, is also becoming impatient with such ugly incidents. Vinicius’s latest experience of racism took place at Anoeta in a recent La Liga match against Real Madrid.
Out of this outlet emerged a silence and a demonstration – Vinicius Junior
The forward took to cursing, obviously directed towards him from the stands, and reciprocated by putting his finger to his own lips. His response reveals the escalation of feelings of aggression concerning the recurring abuse.
To make matters worse, Vinicius has stated that, if no improvements are made, the 2030 FIFA World Cup should not be hosted by Spain and other neighboring countries.
This attitude has not been welcomed by some Spanish fans who have intensified the noise surrounding him. Journalist Tono García from the El Larguero program adds that those linked to Vinicius complain about the constant negative and false utterances against him.
García revealed that Vinicius was especially annoyed by fake news, especially those regarding his interactions with Kylian Mbappe. “He gets very angry with that because they talk about a bad relationship, and it’s the complete opposite,” García said.
However, this does not seem to affect his performances on the field, as he scored two goals and made three assists in six La Liga games. Real Madrid fans will only hope he can keep this concentration when Real Madrid is set to start its Champions League play this Tuesday against Stuttgart in Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
With Vinicius’ struggles off the pitch, he continues to be a ray of hope for Real Madrid on the pitch. The expectation is that he will struggle with adversities but his talent and determination will enable him to achieve great feats for Los Blancos.
