✅Real Madrid striker Rodrygo Goes will return to the squad for the UEFA Champions League clash against AC Milan, according to reports.
Spanish newspaper Diario AS reports that Rodrygo Goes is set to make an earlier-than-expected return for Real Madrid's match against AC Milan.
The Whites face AC Milan at the Santiago Bernabeu in a huge Champions League clash on Tuesday, November 5. Rodrygo suffered a muscle strain in the previous Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund. Carlo Ancelotti's side returned to win 5-2 in this match.
The Brazilian is expected to be out for around 20 days. He missed El Clasico against Barcelona, but he recovered faster than expected and was included in the official list for the match against Milan. He was suffering from a biceps femoris problem in his right leg.
While the Blancos already boast superstars like Kylian Mbappé and Vinicius Jr., the return of Rodrigo is a big boost for the team. He has scored three times and provided two assists in 13 appearances this season. His absence was felt during the Clasico at the Bernabeu, which Real Madrid lost 4-0. Rodrygo has been working with his physiotherapist Marcel Duarte and is back in action for the match against Milan.
✅Real Madrid and AC Milan in the Champions League this season
Neither Real Madrid nor Milan have had a perfect start to the Champions League this season. The Whites have won two of their three games and occupy 12th place in the table with six points from the schedule. On the other hand, Milan lost the first two games but came back to win the previous game.
The Serie A giants are currently 25th in the competition's new format with three points in the schedule. That said, both teams have a rich history in the Champions League and fans can expect an exciting encounter when they meet. Many players from around the world will be present in the field of both teams during the match.
