Newcastle United midfielder Lewis Miley has signed a lucrative deal with US sportswear company Under Armour.
Miley previously represented Adidas, who returned as the Magpies' official sporting goods partner this summer in a deal worth £30m per season.
The 18-year-old's deal with Adidas expired this year and despite attempts to tie him down to a new contract, Miley has opted to join Under Armour.
According to Mail Sport, the Stanley-born teenager has signed a multi-year deal to replace Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold as the "northern face" of the business. Alexander-Arnold left to join Adidas. Miley made his debut for Newcastle's first team at the age of 17 last season. He went on to make 26 appearances in all competitions, with his goal in the 3-0 win over Fulham last December making him the club's youngest goalscorer in the Premier League.
However, Miley's campaign came to an untimely end in March when she suffered a back injury. He was then set to return for the start of July, but fractured his metatarsal in what he described as a "scary accident".

"He's an outstanding player, he's shown that coming back into training," Howe said. "You would expect him to be technically rusty or he should improve physically, but I think he has come back physically as a changed athlete. He is stronger and fitter, which will come naturally with age, but he seems to have taken his time away from the training camp for good use.
"Technically he's been good, so I have no problem with his game, I think he looks in really good shape. It's just about managing [his workloads], he's still very young, and he's had some injuries which reflects the fact that we probably used him a lot last year and we don't want him to get injured again.
"I think Lewis will make little progress at first, but hopefully he can step up and play big minutes for us."
Under Armor believes Miley "will be a staple of the national team in the not-too-distant future."
