Ronaldo moved to the Middle East a month after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, closing the chapter on his remarkable European career.
Al Nassr has an impressive collection of 28 official trophies. Domestically, the club has won nine Pro League titles, six Copa del Rey, three Crown Prince Cups, three Confederations Cups, and two Super Cups.
Ronaldo's side lost a league title to Al Ittihad last season and Al Hilal was crowned champions in 2023/24. Al Nassr was also knocked out of the AFC Champions League last season on penalties by Al Ain and lost on penalties to Al Hilal on May 31. Ronaldo began his latest trophy quest in Riyadh in August 2024, starting the 2024/25 season with the Saudi Arabian Super Cup.
