Tottenham returned to the Premier League in a 100% London encounter against West Ham, the humiliation suffered before the international break still fresh in the painful memory.
Last time out, Spurs raced into a 2-0 half-time lead at Brighton, before falling to a humiliating 3-2 defeat. All credit for last weekend's 3-0 win over Manchester United is quickly disappearing and Ange Postecoglou needs a strong response from his players. West Ham have made a shaky start to life under Julen Lopetegiui and ended a five-match winless streak in all competitions by beating Ipswich Town 4-1 in their previous game.

Tottenham vs West lineups, team news
Postecoglou has to manage a trio of strikers, all close to returning to action but could find the game against West Ham very soon.
Captain Son Heung-min has missed Spurs' last three games with a thigh injury. The South Korean star has returned to light training and his progress will be monitored before kick-off at lunch.
Richarlison (calf) and Wilson Odobert (hamstring) also missed out for their respective national teams during the October break, while young midfielder Lucas Bergvall returned to Sweden with a minor injury.
The big decision for Postecoglou will be whether to stick with his attacking midfield formation, with James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski as No.8s, or opt for Yves Bissouma or Pape Sarr for a bit more ballast in light of the Brighton experience. The impression is that the leader of the Spurs will have his efforts.
Tottenham predicted formation (4-3-3 from right to left): Vicario (GK) - Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie - Kulusevski, Bentancur, Maddison - Johnson, Solanke,
Injured: Son, Richarlison, Odobert, Bergvall
Suspended:
Lopetegui is healthy, except Nicklas Fullkrug, who has not played since late August with an Achilles tendon problem. It is not the first time in recent years that Michail Antonio has found himself at the helm of the Hammers' attack after a high-profile striker struggled in east London. The experienced striker scored his first goal of the season against Ipswich.
West Ham predicted XI (4-2-3-1, from right to left): Areola (GK) - Wan-Bissala, Todibo, Kilman, Emerson - Rodriguez, Soucek - Bowen, Paqueta, Kudus - Antonio
Injured: Fulkrug
Suspended:
Tottenham vs West Prediction
It's always difficult to make predictions after the international break, but given the nature of their last two results, a draw looks quite likely. Draw, 1-1.
