The next Premier League game for Arsenal will be later this week after dismantling the Bolton Carlo Cup quarter-final 5-1.
Following Sunday’s draw with Manchester City in a Carabao Cup quarter-final, Mikel Arteta introduced some changes in the formation of the team in a midweek match against the opponent, who plays in the third tier of the English League.
Leicester City have also reached the Carabao Cup Round of 16 however they had to come from behind against Walsall to the penalties stage. The Swans are one of six remaining Premier League teams yet to register a victory this season after five games under Cooper. They are without a victory but have been appearing to be more threatening in their last two fixtures with Crystal Palace and Everton.

Arsenal vs Leicester lineups, team news
Arsenal Team News and Probable XI:
David Raya had to be substituted at Bolton because of a cramp he got in the second half against Manchester City; this allowed 16-year-old Jack Porter to become Arsenal’s youngest-ever starter in a midweek match.
Striker Leandro Trossard, who was substituted off during Thursday’s defeat against City, returns after a one-match domestic suspension. His return strengthens the Arsenal attack, especially after the likes of Rhodes and Raheem Sterling reacted well to net a close-range header against Bolton.
After some games, Ben White got a starting position replaced at the second half against City and he can regain a starting role again, especially with Jurrien Timber in question for the match.
Arsenal Predicted Lineup (4-3-3, right to left):
Raya (GK) – Gabriel, White, Saliba, Calafiori – Havertz, Partey, Rice – Saka, Trossard, Martinelli
- Injuries: Tierney, Odegaard, Merino, Zinchenko, Tomiyasu, Timber
- Suspended: None
Leicester City Team News and Probable XI:
Steve Cooper will not count on the services of Patson Daka and Jakub Stolarczyk who are both nursing ankle injuries. There are no other injury worries now.
Jamie Vardy is not in doubt for the fixture and could again lead the Foxes’ line. The player has netted eleven goals in sixteen matches against Arsenal, which makes it the highest he has managed on a single club.
Leicester Predicted Lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left):
Hermansen (GK) – Justin, Faes, Okoli, Kristiansen – Skipp, Winks – Ayew, Ndidi, Mavididi – Vardy
- Injuries: Daka, Stolarczyk
- Suspended: None
Arsenal vs Leicester Prediction
AFC Arsenal has had the lion’s share when it comes to head-and-face customization with Leicester with the last five matches going to Arsenal – this is the best streak that the club has had over Leicester since 1932. And with that kind of run, Arsenal will be sure of perpetuating it. The team managed by Arteta has been highly competitive in the home lawn having won 33 of their last 43 Premier League matches at Emirates. Leicester has had its issues trying to cope with this level of competition, especially after being promoted, and we anticipate those issues will persist.
Prediction: Arsenal 3 – 0 Leicester City.
