This young man is beginning to make his imprint on Manchester United and the latest development is that even Cristiano Ronaldo’s family is looking his way. Recently in one of the latest photos shared by Ronaldo’s partner, Georgina Rodriguez, little Cristiano Jr., the oldest child of the football star, was shown doing homework while dressed in a garnacho Manchester United shirt, which demonstrated the child’s appreciation of the Argentine footballer.
Now 20 years old, Garnacho once trained with Ronaldo during the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s last tutelage at Old Trafford. Even when representing Argentina has Lionel Messi as their star man, Garnacho had been an admirer of Ronaldo. However, it appears that the feeling is reciprocated, and Ronaldo Jr. has taken to Saudi Arabia wearing the ‘Garnacho 17’ jersey.
There’s also rising speculation about the future possibility of Garnacho taking over the number 7 jersey at Manchester United – a number previously donned by legends including Ronaldo, Beckham, and Cantona. Garnacho currently wears the No. 17 for United but there is anticipation whether the young star will be the next in line to wear the famous shirt.
Cristiano Jr., on the other hand, is improving his skills at Al-Nassr’s academy in Saudi Arabia where he takes his father’s footsteps. Whether he will one day ply his trade at Old Trafford and don the sacred shirt number 7 remains to be seen, but for now, Garnacho goes on to inspire the youth — the next generation of footballers including those from Ronaldo’s lineage.
Cristiano Ronaldo is still quite active at 38 and for him, the goals remain an issue, with some sources claiming he aims to score 1000 goals in his career. Back at Manchester United, however, the club is struggling under the Dutchman Erik ten Hag, including reports indicating that the Dutchman could be fired during the current international break.
