The Appeals Committee of the French Football League on Friday upheld its previous decision that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) must pay 55 million euros to its former star Kylian Mbappé, French media reported.
The LFP's legal commission ruled in Mbappé's favor in September, but PSG insisted they owed him no money and appealed the decision. Both sides were heard again on October 15.
The 25-year-old French forward had previously rejected a mediation offer and said the Paris club owed him three months' wages and other bonuses. In July, Mbappé left PSG after seven years of his contract to join Spanish club Real Madrid on a five-year contract.
He won six French championship titles with PSG.
Mbappé also helped France win the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
