Arsenal vs Bolton Expected Lineups, Team News, and Injuries After Etihad Clash

It is still unknown to what extent Mikel Arteta will rotate his squad for Arsenal’s Carabao Cup third-round fixture with Bolton Wanderers from League One.

Arsenal on Saturday was involved in a 2-2 draw against Manchester City in the English Premier League, they played the second half with a man short after Leandro Trossard’s dismissal. They tried so much to get a winner in the match but were forced to settle for a draw after John Stones scored an equalizer in the eighth minute of the stoppage time.

It wouldn’t be the first time Arsenal was accused of using ‘dark arts’ to slow the game down, and faking injuries as testified by City players Bernardo Silva and Manuel Akanji after the match. When asked about these claims during the pre-match press conference, Arteta dismissed them and encouraged every one of them to stick to the facts instead of gossip. He suggested having a rotation of players because of the injuries but did not divulge more about it until the list of players was out.
